test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test 01-MAY-2003 HJW test 01-MAY-2003 HJW test WESTBURY HILLFORT WESTBURY HILLFORT RAMPARTS WE2657 EI 66879 Excavation between 1964 and 1967 on the East and North ramparts of Westbury Hillfort were undertaken by the Westbury Archaeological society under the direction of the late Dr Elwood Parkley. Each rampart was sectioned, drawn and photographed. The extent of the work on the monument was only appreciated on evaluation of Dr. Parkleys papers following his death in 1997.
